1 3/4 c. self-rising flour
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1/3 c. shortening
1 tsp. grated orange rind
1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1 c. mashed bananas
2 eggs, well beaten

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together flour, shortening and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
Add eggs, nuts, orange rind and bananas. Beat well.
Bake in 8x4 inch pan at 350 for 55 minutes.
Store overnight before slicing.
