2 eggs, well beaten
1/4 c orange rind, grated
7 oz semi-sweet chocolate, grated

1 tsp baking soda
1 c sour milk

1/2 c butter, softened
1 1/2 tsp vanilla

When smoothly blended, pour into a wax paper or parchment paper lined, well-greased 9 X 13 pan or two round cake pans.Bake in a preheated 350 oven for 50 minutes or until pick comes out clean. Cool

Buttercream Icing:
Cream room temperature butter with a hand mixer until smooth and fluffy. Gradually beat in icing sugar until fully incorporated. Beat in vanilla extract. Pour in milk and beat for an additional 3-4 minutes. Spread buttercream over cake. Let cool. Melt chocolate squares or chips in a microwave until melted. Personal Notes:
Another cake from way back and it is Sophie's favourite. We kind of forgot about it, so it's time to make it again. Enjoy!
