Ingredients:
Buy one box Nabisco vanilla wafers. Only Nabisco.
Buy one large bunch of bananas. Add more than recipe calls for.
Read the recipe on the box.
Recreate. But add all of the cookies, more bananas, and lots of love.

Your version may or may not taste as good as Grammie's. Probably not.

Be sure and let the grandkids lick the pudding pot.

Serve this warm, as left over refrigerated banana pudding looks terrible.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
Jamison, as well as all of Dorothy Barnes' kids, grandkids, and greatgrands loved her Nabisco banana pudding. (Dot's dad, Frank Taylor, retired from Nabisco Cookie Co. in Chicago and no one ever bought any vanilla cookie except Nabisco.)

Jamison was complimenting his Grammie on how good her banana pudding was and asked for the recipe. It was sooo good it had to be a secret family recipe. She smiled, said no, and pointed to the side of the box. But no one ever made it as good as she did.
