1 1/2 lb. round steak, cut in strips
1/4 cup flour 1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper 1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 cup canned tomatoes
1 3/4 cup water 1/2 cup chopped onion
1 small garlic clove minced
1 tbsp. beef flavor gravy base(if you don't have this, you can substitute 1 beef bullion in 1 cup hot water)
1 1/2 tsp Worcestershire
2 large green peppers (cut in strips)
Hot cooked rice

Cut steak in strips. Combine flour, salt, pepper--coat steak strips. In large skillet cook meat in hot oil-brown. Drain tomatoes, add liquid from tomatoes, water, onion, garlic and gravy base to meat in skillet. Cover and simmer 1 1/4 hrs. until tender. Uncover & stir in Worcestershire and add pepper strips. Cook 5 min. if necessary, thicken with a little flour & cold water(gravy) Add drained tomatoes-Cook 5 minutes more. Serve over hot rice.
