"The tradition of Italian cooking is that of the matriarch. This is the cooking of grandma. She didn't waste time thinking too much about the celery. She got the best celery she could and then she dealt with it."--Mario Batali

Ingredients:
Ingredients:
10 large cans pineapple juice
10 large cans orange juice
6 quarts of water
6 cans or bottles of lemon juice
5 quarts ginger ale
3 tablespoons tea
Sugar to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Make the tea. Strain. In a large crock or vessel, put in the tea and the juices—all except the ginger ale. If you can, put the juice mixture in to cool. Taste and if the sugar is right. don't add more, the ginger ale is sweetening, and you can always add more sugar, but who wants a sweet punch?
When ready to serve, take half of this and add half of the ginger ale in a punch bowl with a chunk of ice. Stir a minute to get all well chilled, and start serving. This should fill about 200 punch cups.
