2 c, packed brown sugar
3/4 c. butter, softened
2 eggs
2 tsps. vanilla
2 1/2 c. biscuit baking mix
3 c. rolled oats
12 oz. pkg. chocolate chips
1 c. sweetened condensed milk
2 T. butter
1/2 tsp salt.
1 c/ chopped nuts
2 tsps. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 350º. Grease jelly roll pan. Mix brown sugar, butter, eggs and vanilla. Stir in baking mix and oats till uniform consistency. Heat chocolate chips, milk, 2 T. butter and salt in a small saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly, till smooth. Stir in nuts and vanilla.
Press about 2/3 oatmeal mixture with greased hands into pan. Spread chocolate mixture over. Drop remaining oatmeal by tablespoons over the top. Bake until light brown--about 30 minutes. Cool completely. Cut into bars.
***You can add 3/4 c. peanut butter to the chocolate mixture while stirring over low heat.
