2 c. Unpeeled diced apples
1 c. Sugar
1-1/2 c. Flour
1 tsp. Soda
1/2 tsp. Salt
1/2 c. Cooking oil
1/2 c. Coconut
1/2 c. Chopped nuts
1 Egg, beaten
1 tsp. Vanilla
4 Tbsp. Butter
1/2 c. Brown Sugar
2 Tbsp. Milk
1 c. Coconut

Directions:
Directions:
Mix apples and sugar and let it stand till juice forms. Sift flour, soda and salt. Add to apples. Add oil, coconut, nuts, egg, vanilla and mix well. Bake at 350 for 40 to 45 minutes in well greased 8 x 12-inch pan. For icing combine butter, brown sugar and milk in saucepan. Bring to boil and cook until thickened. Add coconut. Pour over cake and place under boiler and brown slowly for 2 minutes.
