Pepper Steak Recipe

1/2 c (1stick) Butter
2lb skirt, round or sirloin steak - cut into 1/8 x 2" strips
1/8 tsp garlic powder
1/2 c chopped onion
2 green peppers cut in strips
1 can (1#) tomatoes (chop)
1 cube beef boullion
1 tbls cornstarch
1/4 c water
3 tbls soy sauce
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp salt

in skillet melt butter add feef, sprinkle with garlic powder, salute slightly until brown, remove meat
add onion & green pepper saute about 2 minutes
return meat to skillet with tomatoes & boullion cube simmer about 5 minutes
blend together corm starch, water, soy sauce, sugar and salt.
stir into meat mixture - cook until thickened.

serve immediately with rice
