1/2 cup butter
1 3 oz package cream cheese
1 cup flour
1 egg
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 tbs butter softened
1 tsp vanilla
dash salt
1/2 cup coarsely chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Beat 1/2 c butter and cream cheese together. Add flour; beat well. Cover bowl and chill mixture for about 1 hour
In small bowl stir together egg, brown sugar, tbs butter, vanilla and salt until smooth; set aside. Shape chilled dough into about 2 dozen round 1 inch ball; place into 1 3/4 inch muffin cup pressing into bottom and sides of cups. Spoon about 1 tsp of pecans into pastry; fill with egg mixture. Bake at 325º for 25 minutes or until set. cool on wire rack. Remove from pans
