1 medium onion, diced

4 c. hash browns

14 oz can chicken broth

2˝ soup cans of water

salt and pepper

12 oz can evaporated milk

Directions:
Directions:
Sauté onions in butter. Add hash browns, chicken broth, water, salt and pepper. Boil on low 15 to 20 minutes.

Add evaporated milk. Simmer 15 to 20 minutes longer.

*If needed, thicken with flour and water or instant potatoes
