Filling:
1 c flour
1 c sugar
tsp salt
2 tsp baking powder
c milk
1 tsp vanilla
1 c dates, chopped

Topping:
2 c boiling water
1 c brown sugar
1 TBSP butter
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350.
Mix together filling ingredients, except chopped dates. Place in 9x13 pan. Spread chopped dates on top of filling mixture. Mix together topping ingredients and pour over filling. Bake 30 minutes.
