1 c granulated sugar
½ c brown sugar
1 c Crisco
1 egg
2 tsp cream of tartar
2 tsp baking soda
2 c flour
¼ tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350. Cream sugars and shortening. Add egg. Add dry ingredients. Mix well. Roll into small balls and dip in sugar. Place sugar side up on a greased cookie sheet. Do not flatten. Bake 8-10 minutes.
