Creamy White Chili Recipe

2 lb. chicken breast

2 tsp. salt

4 c. chicken broth

1 medium onion, chopped

1 tsp. garlic powder

2 tsp. ground cumin

2 tsp. dried oregano

1 tsp. pepper

tsp. cayenne pepper

4 c. (15 oz.) great northern beans, rinsed & drained

4 cans (4 oz.) green chilies

2 c. (16 oz.) sour cream

1 c. whipping cream

Put chicken in large pan, cover with water, and add salt. Cook until chicken is tender. Take chicken out and let cool. De-bone and cut in bite size.

To the chicken broth add onions, garlic powder, cumin, oregano, pepper, beans, and chilies. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, add bite size chicken pieces, simmer, uncovered, for 30 minutes. Remove from the heat, stir in sour cream. Serve immediately.

About 14 servings
