1 pkg dry yeast
1 c luke warm sweet cream ( ½ cream ½ milk)
1 egg
3 TBSP sugar
1 c shortening
1 tsp salt
3 ½ c sifted flour
1 c sugar
2 tsp cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375.
Dissolve the yeast in 1c lukewarm sweet cream. Mix together yeast mixture, egg, 3 TBSP sugar, shortening, salt, and sifted flour. Chill in the fridge for 2 hours. Mix together 1c sugar and cinnamon. Spread the cinnamon and sugar mixture on the counter. Take ½ of the dough and roll out on top of the cinnamon and sugar to about the size of 28” x 8”. Fold in half lengthwise (making it 4” wide. Cut in 1” wide strips. Twist and sprinkle with sugar. Let rise 1 hour. Bake at 375 for 10-15 minutes.
