1 - 1 1/2 lb. meat- beef, pork, or chicken
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 vinegar
3-4 tbsp. soy sauce
3-4 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 cup chopped onion
1-2 tsp. ginger (root or ground)
2-3 tbsp. corn starch
1 can pineapple rounds, cut into pieces

Cut meat into small pieces and brown in a little oil and continue to cook until almost done. Retain 2-3 cup of the "liquid" of the meat from cooking. If not enough liquid, add water to have 2-3 cups of liquid. Add this liquid to all other liquid ingredients together in a bowl and add corn starch. Add the liquid mix to meat and continue cooking until tender. Add pineapple pieces and simmer for 10 min. Serve over rice and mixed vegetables.

Mixed vegetables: Cut up the following and cook with a little water until tender: carrots, celery, peas, beans, green peppers, cauliflower.
