2 c sugar
1/2 c butter
3/4 c light corn syrup
1 pint whipping cream

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all ingredients except 1 c whipping cream. Bring to a rolling boil and gradually add second cup of cream without losing boil. Cook on low, stirring often until temp reaches 244-245*. Pour into greased flexible pan (tupperware). Cool, cut and wrap in plastic.
*Check boiling point for the day you are making caramels by boiling a pan of water and placing candy thermometer in water for 5 minutes. Adjust cooking time accordingly. For example, if boiling point is 210 instead of the usual 212, cook caramels to 242-243.
