1 cup shortening
1 cup br. sugar
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
2 Tbsp cold water
2 tsp vanilla
2 cups flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
3 cups oatmeal
1 cup (or more) Craisins (dried cranberries)

Directions:

Preheat oven 375*

Cream together shortening, br sugar and sugar. Add eggs, cold water and vanilla to creamed mixture and stir together thoroughly. Add flour, salt, baking powder and baking soda and mix thoroughly. Mix in the oatmeal and Craisins.

Drop 1" spoonfulls about 2" apart onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 375* for 12-15 or until lightly brown. Cool on cooling rack.
