1/2 salt pork, diced
2 medium onions sliced
3 cups diced raw potatoes
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
2 cups boiling water
1 quart clams chopped
1 quart milk
2 tbsp butter

Directions:
Cook the pork until crisp, add the onions and cook about 5 minutes.. Next put in the potatoes and seasonings.and water, cover and let simmer 10 minutes.. Finally add the clams with the liquid, the milk and butter. Continue cooking until the potatoes are tender and the clams are well plumped, about 10 minutes.occassionaly a bit of diced celery or carrots may be added.

I typed this in as written, in my head I heard only occasional celery? Does too much celery cause an issue? Although I do not favor clams Schuylar does I hope one day she makes this recipe.
