1 lb. ground beef
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 tsp. salt
Dash pepper
1-16 oz. can cut green beans, drained
1-10 oz. can condensed tomato soup

5 hot cooked medium sized potatoes
1/2 cup warm milk
1 beaten egg
1/2 cup shredded American cheese

In a large skillet, cook meat and onion until meat is lightly browned and onion is tender. Add salt and pepper. Add drained beans and soup; pour into greased 1 1/2 quart casserole. Mash potaotes while hot; add milk and egg. Season with salt and pepper. Spoon i mounds over casserole. Sprinkle potatoes with cheese.

Bake in 350º oven for 25-30 minutes.

*OR prepare 4-6 servings packaged instant mashed potatoes according o package directions (except reserve the milk). Add egg and season with salt and pepper to taste. Add enought reserved milk so potatoes are stiff enough to hold shape.
