1/2 tsp. vanilla extract

Directions:
Prepare the gingerbread syrup:
(1) In a medium saucepan, mix the water, sugar, ginger, vanilla extract and cinnamon. The pan's size is important, because if it is too small, the mixture will bubble over.
(2) Bring the mixture to a boil, reduce the heat, and allow it to simmer for 15 minutes. Do not cover the pan. Place the syrup in a container with a lid covering it.

Blend the milkshake:
(1) Blend 1 1/2 oz. of the gingerbread syrup, the milk, and ice cream.
(2) Place graham cracker crumbs, whipped cream, and ginger snap on top of the drink as desired.
