6 c finely chopped peeled cucumber (4 to 5 large)
1 c finely chopped onion
1 tbsp. salt
1 1/4 c Heinz White Vinegar
3/4 c granulated sugar
1/2 tsp white pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Peel cucumbers, remove seeds, and chop finely. Add onion and salt. Let stand 1 hour, then drain well in colander. Combine vinegar and sugar and bring to a boil. Add pepper and drained vegetables. Pack into hot sterilized jars and seal.
