1 qt tomatoes
1 minced clove of garlic
2 c. tomato juice
1/2 onion
1 lb ground beef
1 tsp salt
2 tsp chili powder
1 bay leaf
1 green pepper
2 cans kidney beans, drained
2 or 3 red pepper flakes

Directions:
Directions:
Brown ground beef. Put in crock pot or other large pot. Saute onions and green pepper until soft and transparent. Add to pot. Add remaining ingredients except kidney beans. Add them last about 16 minutes before serving.
