1/2 c shortening
1 c sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 c cocoa
1 3/4 c sifted flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 c milk
36 marshmallows, cut in half

Frosting:
3/8 c Hershey's cocoa
2 c confectioner's sugar
1/4 c margarine
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/4 c evaporated milk
Directions:
Directions:
Combine shortening, sugar, egg, vanilla, cocoa, flour, baking soda, salt, and milk.
Mix until smooth.
Drop on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 375º for 8 min.
After 8 min top each with half of a marshmallow and return to the oven for 1 minute.
Combine all frosting ingredients and frost cookies.
