1.5 c. water
1.5 c. sugar
1/3 stick butter or margarine
cinnamon
apple slices
crescent rolls

Directions:
Directions:
Wrap crescent roll dough around apple slices. Bring water, sugar, and cinnamon to a boil and add butter. Pour over dumplings. Bake at 375 degrees for 35-40 minutes.

This was Aunt Elaine's recipe. I had to guess a little bit because the only ingredients listed were the water, sugar, cinnamon, and butter (margarine)! I added in the apples and dough!
