Cut up one fryer. Shake in bag until coated with:

3/4 cup flour
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. thyme
1/2 tsp. marjoram

Directions:
Brown chicken on all sides. Put in casserole. Sprinkle with 1 tsp. rosemary. Pour 1/2 can beef consommé into skillet and stir thoroughly. Pour over chicken. Bake uncovered at 375 degrees for 45 minutes.

Jackie says, "I use chicken tenders instead of a whole chicken, and I don't really measure anything. I also use beef broth, and use enough to almost cover the chicken in the casserole (the gravy is soooo good). I serve it with mashed potatoes. YUM!"
