Flank steak (2.5 pounds)
1 cup vegetable oil
1 cup soy sauce
2 cloves garlic
1 onion diced

Score the meet crosswise in both directions. Put all ingredients in plastic bag. Let marinate 5 hours or overnight. Broil on high setting for 8 to 10 minutes each side.
