5 small apples, chopped up in cubes
2 c. sugar
3 c. flour
2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 tsp nutmeg
2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp allspice
1 c. melted butter
2 eggs
1 cup raisins
1 cup nuts

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º
Put apples in bowl, cover with sugar & let stand for 10 minutes
Blend in melted butter & eggs
Add dry ingredients, stirring just to mix..
Add nut & raisins
Spread into 13x9 " pan
Bake 50 minutes
Cool 10 minutes then sprinkle sugar over top
