Bring to a boil and then turn down to a low boil. Cook until done. Take chicken out of the pot and put aside. Add paprika, salt and pepper to taste. Let cool until warm or sour cream will clump. Add 16 oz of sour cream whisking in a little at a time. Turn up heat and cook (not too hot). Strain out onions, pepper and tomatoes. Put chicken back in sauce and cook 10 mins. While cooking start making dumplings. Fill a bowl 1/2 full with flour. Add 2-3 eggs and break up. Add milk and kneed. Add more milk if necessary. Should be like dough, sticky like peanut butter. Heat water to boiling. Use knife to cut into pieces. Drop into water about 3-5 min. Make sure to reheat to boiling each time before adding more. Serve with chicken. |
