6 onions
4 carrots
4 potatoes
4 stalks of celery
pound of KIDNEYS
splash of vinegar
flour
oil

Directions:
Directions:
Cook kidneys in a pressure cooker - 15 minutes or 30 minutes if frozen - with vinegar
Put flour into a bag,
Add cut up kidneys & shake until covered completely
Put just enough oil in skillet to cover bottom of pan. Add onion & kidneys.
Brown meat until onions are soft
Cover with water & add other cut up veggies
Simmer covered for an hour or 2

Smells terrible while cooking. Whole house will stink. I never acquired a taste for this stew but Nick (Doug & my Dad) LOVED it!!!
