3 c. Quick Quaker Oats
1 c. light brown sugar
1 c. pastry flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 c. margarine, melted ( I use butter)
1/4 c. boiling water
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350.
Mix oats, sugar, salt & flour together
Boil water. Dissolve baking soda in it
Add to dry mixture.
Add nuts & stir well
Drop by teaspoon, then flatten with fork
Bake for 12 minutes
