Crystal White


2 steaks (filet)
4 tsp salt
3 tsp fresh pepper
1 stick prepared butter
1 Tbsp olive oil
2 cloves garlic, chopped
1 Tbsp parsley, chopped

Generously season the filet with salt & pepper (about 1 tsp seasoning per side)

Heat 1/2 stick butter & olive oil in cast iron skillet to a searing hot temperature.

Preheat oven to 400.

Sear the filets in a searing hot pan for about 2-3 mins per side, or until a nice brown crust has formed.

While the steak is searing, continue to spoon the butter mixture over the top of the steak.

Once both sides are seared, place pan & steaks in the center of the oven for about 6 - 10 mins, depending upon how done you want your steak.

I the last minute of cooking slice a thick slice of prepared butter onto the top of each steak.
