Salad:
1½ bunches fresh broccoli, broken into small flowerets
large can of mandarin oranges, drained
2-3 slices red onion, chopped fine
½ cup chopped pecans, walnuts or almonds
7-8 tablespoons Oscar Mayer real bacon bits (or you can cook your own)
2-3 tablespoons dried cranberries (or more)

Dressing:
1 cup mayonnaise ( I use ½ cup light mayo and ½ cup light Miracle Whip)
4 tablespoons red wine vinegar
⅓ cup sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Combine salad ingredients in a large bowl.
Mix dressing ingredients.
Refrigerate and toss with dressing at least 30 minutes before serving.

A dear friend gave me this recipe many years ago and still think of her when I make it. She is now 95 years old.
