3 oz cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 cup sifted AP flour
1 egg
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon butter, softened
1 teaspoon vanilla
pinch salt
2/3 cup coarsely broken pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325º. To make pastry, combine the cream cheese and butter in a food processor. Add the flour and pulse to blend. Cover and chill the dough for an hour, 24 1" balls. Place in miniature un-greased muffin cups. Press the dough against the bottom and sides of the cups, hollowing out the centers. Place half the pecans in the pastry lined cups.

Beat together the egg, sugar, butter, vanilla and salt until smooth. Spoon into pastry lined cups and top with remaining pecans.
