1/2 cup butter
2 cups graham cracker crumbs
1/3 cup sugar
8 oz cream cheese
3/4 cup sugar
2 eggs
1/4 oz unflavoured gelatin powder
1/4 cup water
14 oz canned pumpkin
1/2 cup sugar
3 egg yolks
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup milk
3 egg whites
1/4 cup sugar

Directions:

Melt butter. Add crumbs and sugar. Press into 9 x 13 pan.
Beat cream cheese and sugar together well. Beat in 1 egg at a time. Pour over crust. Bake at 325º for 20 minutes.
Sprinkle gelatin over water in small bowl. Let stand at least 5 minutes.
Measure next 6 ingredients into saucepan. Heat and stir over medium heat until boiling and thickened. Remove from heat. Stir in softened gelatin until dissolved. Chill until syrupy.
Beat egg whites until soft peaks form. Add sugar gradually, beating until stiff. Fold into pumpkin mixture. Pour over cheese layer. Chill. Serve with whipped cream.
