1 stick butter (melted)

1 box butter cake mix

4 eggs

8 oz. cream cheese, softened

1 box powdered sugar

1 tsp. vanilla

1 c. chopped finely chopped nuts (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter and then pour butter in with cake mix, add 1 egg and mix well. Pat mixture in bottom of 9 x 13-inch dish.

Beat 3 eggs, cream cheese, powdered sugar, until smooth, add vanilla. Pour mixture over cake batter and bake at 350º for 38 to 40 minutes

Do not overbake. It may not look done in the middle, but take it out anyway.
