CASSEROLE:
3 C potatoes, cooked & mashed
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 stick margarine or butter, melted
2 tsp vanilla
1/2 C sugar
1/2 C milk

TOPPING:
1 C brown sugar
1 C pecans, chopped
1/3 C all-purpose flour
1/3 C margarine, melted
Directions:
Directions:
Blend together all casserole ingredients.
Pour into greased baking dish.
Blend together all topping ingredients & spread evenly over the casserole.
Bake @ 325º for 45 min, or until casserole is cooked through & topping is set.

* I make a double recipe for the topping so it will be thicker, like a crust on the top.
