Cookies - Double Recipe


Ingredients:

1 c. butter (2 sticks)

1 c. sugar

1 c. brown sugar

2 eggs

⅔ c. peanut butter

2 c. flour

1 tsp. baking soda

½ tsp. salt

1 tsp. vanilla

2 c. Quaker oats

2 c. chocolate chips


Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter, sugar and brown sugar together. Add eggs. Blend in peanut butter.

Sift flour, soda, and salt together. Stir in mixture. Add vanilla. Stir in oats.

For recipe spread in 9x13. Bake at 350º for 20 to 25 minutes. For double recipe spread in 10 x 14. Bake at 350º. Let cool 5 minutes add chocolate chips and spread evenly.
 

Topping

1 c. confectioner sugar

¼ c. peanut butter

2-4 tbsp. evaporated milk

Combine ingredients. Drizzle over the chocolate bits. Cut into fingers. The frosting is enough for the double recipe.
