1/2 cup butter (1 stick) , softened
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1 cup peanut butter
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 cup flour, sifted
1 cup chopped walnuts
1 cup chocolate chips

Directions:

Mix first seven ingredients. Blend in the sifted flour, walnuts and chocolate chips. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 11-12 minutes.
