Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
I became a born again Christian in September of 1977. My mother, Rosalind, was raised Methodist. My parents strayed from the Christian church and became Christian Scientists, then Church of Religious Science. Rosalind had heart issues, I wanted to make sure she would be in heaven waiting for me. She would resist talking about salvation, but I kept pushing. She finally prayed the sinners prayer, along with my Daddy, in 1980 at the ages of 70 and 68, respectively. Prior to her death, my mother often said to me, "Why did I wait so long?" My mother went on to live another 4 years before going home to the Lord, whereas my father lived until he was 94.
Mother and Daddy lived in Paradise, California where they attend and were baptized at the local Foursquare Church.
