2 cups vanilla wafer crumbs
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter, melted
3 packages (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
3 eggs
1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
3/4 cup preserves (strawberry or raspberry or blackberry, etc)

Preheat oven to 375. Combine crumbs, sugar and butter; press firmly on bottom of a 9 x 13 baking pan. Bake 8 minutes; remove from oven and cool. Reduce heat to 300.
In a large mixing bowl, beat cream cheese until fluffy. Gradually beat in sweetened condensed milk until smooth. Add eggs and lemon juice; mix well. Spread preserves evenly over prepared crust. Pour cheese mixture over preserves. Bake 45 to 50 minutes or until center is set. Cool. Chill thoroughly. Refrigerate leftovers.
