Per Person:

5 or 6 medium/large shrimp
Old Bay
1 sausage (I used pepper and onion, but Andouille, Louisianna or other spicy sausage works)
1 small clove garlic
red pepper flakes (optional)
chopped onion to taste (1/4 medium onion)
chopped pepper to taste (any kind will do)
butter
pasta - I used penne but you could just as easily use linguini
1/4 c cream or half and half
1/4 c chicken broth

Directions:
Directions:
Place peeled shrimp in a bowl and sprinkle (heavily if you like) with Old Bay. Put this in the fridge and let it soak in while you do the rest.
Cook pasta until al dente, drain and set aside.
Cut sausage into bite-sized pieces and cook until nearly done.
Chop onion,pepper and garlic and saute in the same pan with a pat of butter (or two)
Add spiced shrimp and cook until almost done. (add butter if you need to)
Add Half and Half (or Cream) and chicken stock and simmer until it thickens. (5 minutes or so)
Add in cooked pasta, stir together and serve.
