2 cups self rising flour
1/2 lb. butter
1 lb. cherries
1 lb. candied pineapple
1 lb. pecans broken
2 tbsp. lemon extract
2 tbsp. vanilla extract
6 eggs
1 cup sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Put fruits and nuts in a large bowl & set aside. Cream sugar and butter until creamy. Add eggs one at a time and beat well. Add lemon and vanilla flavorings. Gradually add flour. I use about 1/2 cup of the flour and mix into the fruit to keep it from sinking. Pour batter over fruit and mix well with spoon. Pour into tube pan or two loaf pans. Bake at 250º 2 1/2 to 3 hours. or until tests done.
