1 1/3 cups flour
1/2 cup + 2 tbsp packed brown sugar, divided
1/2 cup softened butter
2 eggs
1/2 cup light corn syrup
3/4 cup finely chopped pecans
2 tbsp. butter melted
1 tsp vanilla
1/8 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour and 2 tbsp. of brown sugar. With fingers, work in softened butter until dough begins to hold together. Press onto bottom of greased 9 inch square pan. Make sure to continue up the sides of the pan about 2 inches. Bake at 350º for 12 - 15 minutes or until just firm. Lightly beat the eggs and add the brown sugar, syrup, melted butter, vanilla, salt and pecans. Pour over crust. Bake 25 minutes at 350º or until edges are lightly browned.
