1 Butter Golden Cake Mix

5 eggs

1 c. milk

1 tsp. vanilla

1 stick butter (softened)

Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º for metal and glass pans, 350º for dark or coated pans. Grease side and bottom of 6 cake pans with shortening or oil spray. Flour lightly.

Blend cake mix, milk, butter and eggs in a large bowl on low speed until moistened. Beat at medium speed for 4 minutes. Pour about 1 cup in each pan.

Cool in pans on wire rack. Cool completely before frosting.
*1 yellow cake mix will make 4 layers
