1 c. granulated sugar

few grains salt

1 c. water

1 tsp. maple flavoring

1 c. Karo light syrup

Directions:
Directions:
In sauce pan put all ingredients except maple flavoring. Heat to boiling. Boil one minute. Cut off heat source. Add maple flavoring. Stir. This syrup is thin but very good. It is good served warm over pancakes or waffles, or with hot biscuits. Can be doubled- keeps well in refrigerator.
