3 cups sifted pastry flour
2 1/2tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 tsp. salt.
(sift together)

2/3 cups crisco
1 1/3 cup sugar

4 slightly beaten eggs
2 cups mashed bananas

Directions:
Directions:
Cream crisco and sugar. Add 4 slightly beaten eggs and mix until smooth. Add dry ingredients alternately with mashed bananas. Stir only enough to combine ingredients thoroughly. DO NOT BEAT.
Bake in loaf pan 350º oven 1 hour. Turn out on rack to cool then wrap in cloth and let stand 24 hours.
