1/2 cup soft margarine
1/3 cup icing sugar
1 tbsp water
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/4 cup flour
dash of salt
2/3 cup dates, chopped
1/2 cup nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Cream margarine and icing sugar. Stir in water and vanilla. Add flour and salt and mix well. Stir in dates and nuts. Roll into 1 inch balls. Bake at 300º F on ungreased cookie sheet for 20 minutes. While warm roll in icing sugar
