4 medium sized onions, chopped
4 cloves garlic, chopped
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup olive or wesson oil
2 6 oz. cans of tomato paste
2 8 oz. cans of tomato sauce
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 lb. ground beef
1 lb. long spaghetti
Parmesan cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Cook onion and garlic in fat until soft. Add tomato paste, tomato sauce and Worcestershire sauce. Add meat, already browned, in additional hot fat. Cook slowly, 2 hours, or in a pressure cooker for 10 minutes.
Serve over cooked spaghetti, sprinkle on Parmesan cheese.

This was my Dad's recipe. It was delicious just as stated, but these days, I use less fat, and a little less onion and garlic. I remember, it was always served on Mom's Homer Laughlin platter.
