1 1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
4 Tablespoons buttermilk
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup shortening
3 bananas (mashed)
1 cup chopped pecans
1 3/4 cup flour
1 teaspoon soda

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together sugar and shortening. Sift together flour, salt and soda. Beat in eggs to the sugar, shortening mixture. Add the rest of the ingredients. Bake in a tube pan at 350º for 55 to-60 minutes. (To make buttermilk, mix4 Tablespoons milk and 1 tablespoon vinegar)
