1 qt. strawberries - sliced
1 c. sugar
2 T. cornstarch
1 c. water
2 T. strawberry jello powder

1 9oz. pie shell
Directions:
Directions:
Bake pie shell, per directions. Cool.

Put strawberries in baked pie shell.

Put sugar, cornstarch and water in saucepan and cook until clear and thick.

Remove from heat and add jello powder.

Cool and then pour over strawberries.

Shoney's Big Boy was a favorite restaurant in my younger days. One of their specialties was Strawberry Pie.

Can serve with whipped cream on top.
